In every home renovation finding the right fixtures for the bathrooms within the budget, without compromising on quality is very important. We are continuously on the lookout for bathroom fixtures to be used in our new bathroom renovation projects, checking our most prized showrooms first. It’s that time of the year where we stop by to see our favorite salespeople and check out the new arrivals, as they share their product knowledge with us. One of our most frequented showrooms in Vancouver, Blu Bathworks, is just a block away from our office and I feel like a kid in a candy shop whenever I’m there.
Believe it or not, I get a bigger kick out of a beautifully designed bathtub and toilet than a designer handbag!
Blu Bathworks carries a stylish selection of contemporary shapes and sizes of bathtubs, basins, toilets, shower bases, and bathroom accessories. One of my favorites is the blu.stone basins and bathtubs, which are crafted from quartzite, are scratch and impact resistant, and highly durable. The surfaces are renewable and consistent of colour and composition throughout.
Unlike some, who don’t really care about the look of a toilet, I get very fussy choosing one. Water closets – the right term for toilets – have come a long way style-wise. We used to visually shield them behind the doors. I, for one, hate to see dust collecting around the bowl siphon of a toilet and all the nooks and crannies visible on the side.
With our design techniques, water closets in limited bathrooms spaces are no longer eyesores, but stylish, functional, and high performance pieces with sleek and clean looks. Features like soft closing, quick release lids, and dual flush are important to me and most of all, it has to look good from the side point of view!
It turns out my new love is the LW 6010 Toilet. Our shopping is done and I found what I was looking for – and just down the road from our Vancouver office. Don’t you love it when you find all the things you need at one stop and in one place!?!Share:
