A little taste of Europe in Yaletown
I’ve had a lifelong love affair with all things European. While I would have loved to tour Europe this upcoming summer, a busy Yaletown interior design business demanded otherwise! Much to my delight, I found a little bit of Europe much closer to home that marries both my love of design and my appreciation of European craftsmanship and quality. I didn’t have to travel further than Vancouver’s own beloved Yaletown!
espace d. is a beautifully staged showroom for European home decor and art. Every exclusive and contemporary piece is hand picked and selected from places of beauty throughout the world. While many of the luxurious items hail from Europe, espace d. champions local artists as well.
My trip there was memorable! Upon arrival, I was greeted at the door by ‘Lucy’, the friendly store dog. Then I was treated to a delicious espresso made by the Parisian owner, Pierre Derreumaux. Vancouverites, if you haven’t explored espace d. yet, check it out! Summer may be the time to tour Europe but a little trip to Yaletown will delight you all year long!
