Positioning a television in any room should never be an afterthought, especially if you do not want the television to be the room’s focal point.  It is imperative that the television be properly placed and installed, expertly housing all components and devices, and hiding wirings and cables.

This penthouse living room is no exception. The living room faces the ocean and the wall of windows provide an expansive view.  With a sixty-inch TV on our client’s wish list, the solution to house the television unobtrusively, was to build a feature wall to hide power cords, HDMI cables and other accompanying components directly in the wall. We also installed wire mesh doors  to keep the components from overheating.

The wall is in place, with allotted spaces for the television and media console. All of the wiring and insulation is now complete.

Our Feature wall is plastered, primed and ready to paint . The mesh doors have been custom ordered and should arrive within a day or two.  A new fireplace hearth is being installed  today by our stone manufacturer and we are getting one step closer to the completion of the feature wall.
